The Lancaster Dispensing Company has been proudly serving fine food and spirits since its opening in 1978. Located in the heart of historic downtown Lancaster, Pennsylvania, our Victorian establishment is situated on the site of the Grape Tavern of 1893. The impressive red building you see today started as the headquarters for an early 20th century social organization. Extensive renovations resulted in the current 19th Century look of the Lancaster Dispensing Company, returning the site to its original use.

Kid Davis and The Bullets
Friday, January 13th at 10:00pm

Rockabilly in all its glory and all kinds of addictive. Everything Americana roots should be. That retro twangy guitar, stand-up bass and steady beat, makes it hard to sit still, and almost impossible not to sing along. Their energy mixed with lyrics full of soul and humor on addiction, women and alcohol makes this CD very hard to put down.

Sweet Leda
Friday, June 15th at 10:00pm

Powered by Julie Cymek’s sultry, commanding vocals and electrifying stage presence, “think Adele mixed with Mary J. Blige, with a certain South Of The Mason-Dixon Line ache that’s all her own”, Sweet Leda has earned a reputation as a “rising star,” taking the diverse mid-Atlantic music scene by storm and becoming one of the most exciting and accomplished live acts around. With its rich blend of new school funk, soul, and pop, Sweet Leda’s heartfelt original material has drawn comparisons to Joss Stone, Janis, Maroon 5, Edie Brickell, and even Led Zeppelin while garnering its very own stylistic label: “sexy smooth rock and groove”.
With their HOT new album “Need The Music” in hand, produced by Stephen Joseph Antonelli and mixed by Drew Mazurek (Linkin Park, Allman Bros.), the band is working hard to share their music with the world! The album’s first single, “Can’t Stand,” was very well received and has garnered much airplay. New cuts such as “Let Her Love Her”, “What I Need”, and “What You Don’t Know” are now getting love from the press as well as SL’s favorite radio stations…and are available on iTunes, Amazon, Pandora, and more!
Things are really just heating up and getting started for Sweet Leda, who is constantly adding new credits and experiences to their resume….from placing songs in feature films, to sharing festivals and stages with the likes of Robert Randolph, Lyle Lovett, Keb’ Mo’, Tedeschi Trucks, Big Head Todd, New Riders of The Purple Sage. The band has been traveling more than ever, working it’s way up and down the east coast, so be sure to check the website for updates. In the meantime, rest assured that the band will be working hard — in the studio and on the live circuit — to do what they do best: make sweet music.

Sunshine Superman
Friday, June 22nd at 10:00pm

Sunshine Superman hates the fact that their music has been labeled as “Jazzy Pop Rock” because that puts them in a category. However, as the mainstream music industry continues to churn out talentless idiots, independent music has grown some really big balls and inspired real artists to redefine terms like “Jazzy, poppy, rocky, folky, etc...” Thatʼs where Sunshine Superman comes in.
The band is lead by Valentina Raffaelli who was born and raised in Tuscany Italy. She has several tours of Europe and most of North America under her belt. Itʼs this experience level and her connection & understanding of the music on both continents, that bleeds out of her songwriting and makes it undeniably interesting and catchy.
On guitar is Lewin Barringer the seasoned pro. Lewin has played with people like Randy Travis, Blues Traveler, G. Love & Special Sauce, Los Lobos, Nickel Creek, Yonder Mountain String band etc... Need I say more?Upright Bass provided by Philadelphiaʼs own Gordon Emma who was chosen to be the personal student of Jazz pioneer Tony Miceli. He lays it down thick and hard.Drum roll please.....Melinda Gervasio who is destined to be one of the great drummers of our time, holds it all together and is better than most of the people you would actually pay to go see.
Sunshine Superman is made up of fascinating and talented musicians, who will put on the same show for 40,000 people or 4 people. The bottom line “We play music because we love music and we love to perform.”
